What it costs
The live .ae price is shown on the .ae domains page and in the order form before you pay.
Register a .ae domain step by step
Check eligibility
The .ae registry generally expects a presence in the UAE, such as a UAE trade licence or a local contact, and may ask that the name relates to you, for example your company or trading name or a trademark you hold. Unsure? Ask us before you order.
Prepare your details
- The registrant’s legal name, exactly as on your documents.
- A UAE address, phone number and email you check.
- A copy of your trade licence or other documents, in case the registry asks.
Search for the name
Search on the .ae domains page. You see the first-year and renewal price before you pay.
Order and complete the contact details
Add the domain to your cart and enter the registrant details carefully: the registry checks them against your documents.
Answer any registry request
If the registry needs documents, our team asks you in a support ticket and submits them for you.
Point the domain
Once active, point the domain to your hosting and email. See how to change nameservers.
Good to know
- Registry rules can change; the registry’s current policy always applies.
- Use details that match your documents exactly to avoid delays.
- Consider registering the matching .com too. See .ae vs .com.
