Before you start
You need a hosting plan with PHP and MySQL or MariaDB (every web hosting plan has them), a domain and about ten minutes. See WordPress hosting
Install with the one-click installer
Point your domain and enable SSL
Make sure the domain points to your hosting and the free SSL certificate is active, so WordPress is installed on an https:// address from the start. See how to change nameservers.
Open the app installer
Sign in to your control panel and open the one-click app installer, then choose WordPress.
Choose the address
Select the https:// version of your domain and leave the directory empty to install at the root. Use a sub-folder only if WordPress should live at an address like /blog.
Set the admin account
Pick an admin username other than “admin”, a long unique password and an email address you check. Set the site name and language.
